voorkomen dat belangenconflicten tussen het expertisekantoor (met inbegrip van zijn bestuurders, werknemers) en zijn klanten, of tussen klanten onderling, de belangen van klanten zouden schaden. Overeenkomstig de principes die voor BEK Consulting worden toegepast, heeft het expertisekantoor een beleid inzake belangenconflicten opgesteld om te verzekeren dat alle redelijke stappen worden genomen om te handelen in het beste belang van de klant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mobile-undersized-upper\">Het beleid inzake belangenconflicten omvat de maatregelen die het expertisekantoor heeft genomen om mogelijke belangenconflicten te identificeren, te voorkomen en te beheren. Het omschrijft de omstandigheden die kunnen leiden tot een belangenconflict dat een wezenlijk risico inhoudt dat de belangen van een of meer klanten worden geschaad. Het beleid vermeldt ook de procedures die gevolgd moeten worden en de maatregelen die genomen moeten worden om dat belangenconflict te beheren, en om te garanderen dat de relevante personen betrokken bij de bedrijfsactiviteiten van de bank kunnen handelen met de passende onafhankelijkheid.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mobile-undersized-upper\">Die procedures en maatregelen zijn onder andere:<br>&#8211; interne gedragscodes om te verzekeren dat het personeel van BEK Consulting eerlijk en in het belang van de klant handelt;&nbsp; <br>&#8211; preventie van ongepaste informatiestromen;<br>&#8211; preventie van ongepaste invloed;&nbsp; <br>&#8211; passende remuneratie van medewerkers, onder meer door te zorgen dat er geen verband bestaat tussen verloningen waarvan de belangen kunnen conflicteren.<\/p><p class=\"mobile-undersized-upper\">Als de procedures en maatregelen in bepaalde omstandigheden onvoldoende blijken om te garanderen dat de belangen van klanten niet geschaad worden, zal BEK Consulting in overeenstemming met de toepasselijke wetgeving overgaan tot bekendmaking aan de klanten.
